"All About Lily Chou-chou"
I consider this movie as one of my favorites of all time. This was a heavy movie wherein you'll feel the angst, hatred & frustrations of every teenager students in Japan. And Lily Chou-chou was a "dark" singer that they idolized (because they can relate to her music). Almost everyone was quiet after the film ended... well, I was speechless!!! Didn't know exactly how to react and what to say. I was... I was... (sigh) I don't know... No words can describe my feelings towards the movie.
This is a must-see movie!!! I truly recommend it!!! Bravo!!!

A class with Lee Meily
Finally, our class had lecture with Lee Meily =) I've learned so much from her (mostly her experiences at work).
In the afternoon, we watched some of her works and she explained to us how it was done. After that, we were grouped accordingly for our practical exam on Wednesday and Thursday... I'm kinda nervous!!!
For me, Lee Meily is a VERY responsible, creative and humble cinematographer and person. I wish that I am going to be like her in the (near) future. Admittedly, I truly admire her a lot (in all aspects of her life)!

Election Day!!!
I woke up late. And the first thing I saw was 5 messages in my cell phone that were mostly campaign texts. Anyway, my mama and I (papa was still in Tacloban) went to Mathay High School and looked for "4636" (where we were going to vote). We went up and down of the building to look for the room and finally we found it in the third floor. So we did the same process that we've doing in every election (blah blah blah). After that, we headed home and had our lunch.
So far, the election is peaceful and organize in our area (hope in other areas too). Let's pray for an honest and clean in counting the votes.

Happy Mother's Day!!!
Celebrated it at my grandmother's house in Manila (near Malacanang). It was really a feast!!! Almost everyone bought food for the event. As usual, my mother contribution was her famous KARE-KARE... which everyone always LOVES it.
We left my grandma's house around 4:30pm. And we drove straight to National Bookstore to get what I photocopied (the Cinematography's Book) yesterday. Then I bought Mama two cakes (Mango Tart and Buko Pandan cakes) in Icing's (Tomas Morato) as a Mother's Day treat!!!
Oh well... I am glad to have a mother like my MAMA (eventhough we argue a lot and we are different in many ways) who I LOVE A LOT!!!

It's my first day of class!!!
Yep! It's my first day of BASIC CINEMATOGRAPHY workshop in Mowelfund. I was so nervous to get in school (again) for the first time after ten years. Because, I forgot anymore how it feels to be a student (and how to be in classroom). But when I reached Mowelfund, nervousness turned into excitement! I've met my old friends and I've met new friends. It was a fun day! No exact words can describe the feelings I had (or should I say, still having). As far as I know... I am HAPPY and I am ENJOYING! THIS IS A MEMORABLE STAGE OF MY LIFE!

My mother and I are really two different beings... we are different in so many ways (spiritually, philipsophically & mentally).

Just today, we argued on two things (which I am going to write verbatimly what she said):
1) "Mahirap makipag-relasyon sa mga tomboy"
2) "Maging focus ka sa goal mo (to be millonaire), para when you reach 30-35 pwede ka na mag-retire"

My answers to these premises:
1) Don't generalize. Whatever the gender or sex of your partner, there's always a possibility to have a difficult relationship romantically with anyone.
2) Every individual has different goals in life. You can't tell us to be a millionaire on a certain age because sometimes people change with their plans. Or sometimes, they discover their "happiness" in the later stage of their life. As the say, "Change is the only permanent in this world!".

I am not asking anyone to agree with what I believe. I am just here to tell exactly what's on my mind --- my opinion... my belief.

I agree... because sometimes you thought you were just having a discussion. Then for all you know, you were already having an argument. Worst of all... you were already having a fight!
